“Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits.”

-Psalm 103:2

King David shows us that there are benefits to being in covenant with God.  Too often we are unaware or forgetful about these benefits.  We need to know we are as children of God and what we have in Him so that we can appropriate those promised blessings into our lives and so that we will turn our hearts toward God in worship rather than turn away in offense, fear, or shame.

In this message, I pray God opens your eyes to see just how awesome your inheritance is in Christ.  I am confident that when you see, fear and anxiety will fall away and confidence and creativity will explode in your life.   You are not alone; you have a God!  He is with you and has made promises to you.  I pray you receive all He has for you.

Undiluted

You gotta know who you are!  You gotta know what God has given you in Christ!  God says, “My people perish for lack of knowledge”.  I have found that when we don’t know, we are vulnerable to insecurities, fears, and even sin.  But when we know, the truth frees us, fills us with confidence, brings rest, and motivates and empowers us to live a life that pleases God.

Do you know who you are?  Do you know you have an inheritance in Christ?  In this message, you will see that you have an undiluted inheritance in Christ.  The same power, authority, blessings, and promises we read in the bible are your inheritance.  But if you don’t know, you won’t appropriate them to your life.  I pray you will blessed by this message as you see what is yours.  And I pray you would become solid in Christ as you come to Him with faith.

Kingdom Prayers

Through James 5:16-17, the Lord teaches us how to pray prayers that get results.  Many people think prayer is a like a coin toss or a roll of the dice.  “You never know what God will do”, I hear many people say.  But that is not what Jesus taught or modeled.  Its time we learn to pray Kingdom prayers and see Kingdom results.

If you don’t know what is yours in Christ, you won’t approach God with confidence and perseverance.  You can only appropriate what you recognize.  Discover who you are in Christ and what is available to you through Him; ditch wimpy prayers and pick up your weapons.

Don’t Let the Devil Bully You

You can only appropriate what you recognize.  If we don’t know something is ours we cannot utilize it.  Too often we let fear and discouragement, shame and insecurity push us around, because we do not know who we are.

We need to know who we are in Christ and what has been given to us.  That is what Paul prays for in Ephesians chapter one and that is what the Holy Spirit is showing us in this message.

Beloved, don’t let the devil bully you any longer!  Rise up and fight.  Find out how in this message.

Forever Changed

I was impacted by something so simple while reading the Gospels recently.  When people encountered Jesus, they were changed forever.  And what was their response?  Worship. So often we see people falling down and worshipping Jesus out of an overwhelming sense of gratitude.  He made such an impact!

The risen Lord is still in the life-changing business.  I may not be a leper, but I need healing; I may not be a tax collector, but I need forgiveness.  He is alive: still the healer, redeemer, savior, deliverer.

Everyone who encountered Jesus, was changed forever.  As you come to Jesus, He will change you.

The Praise Breakthrough

Often just when we start making some progress, resistance comes.  Often after revival, comes backlash.  We can be tempted to be discouraged, but the Lord is reminding us that our victory is on our lips, that praise is the way to breakthrough.  So don’t worry; worship.  Don’t back down; Bless the Lord.  Don’t give up; give Him glory!

Be reminded through some powerful testimonies that as you worship, God is moving.  He is going before you, fighting for you, giving you victory.  Praise Him!

Costly Worship

There is no worship without sacrifice.  Think about it!  It is all over the Bible.  God is honored when we worship Him in a costly manner.  Even David knew this and said, “I will not give to God that which costs me nothing!”

In these messages we continue to learn that we are called to minister to God and discover what blesses God.  Let God draw you deeper.

Ministering to the Lord

We are not only called to minister for the Lord but to the Lord. Our primary calling is to know and love God.  In fact, we find our identity and purpose when we put Him first and honor Him.

In these messages, the Lord is teaching us what blesses Him.  We often think of our own needs and wants; but do we really consider what God wants?  Let God draw you deeper.

Action Sunday

We often want the promises of God to come instantly without any obstacles; we wish we could see the fulfillment without the struggle.  But people of faith know that is not how it works.  God gives us promises because He knows we need them to endure; He gives us a vision of the future because we can’t see it yet and need the hope to keep going.

In this message, you will be encouraged to rise up and move into your promised land.  For our church’s vision, that means rising up together.  Joshua wasn’t called to take the promised land by himself; he was simply the leader who empowered and coordinated a the people of God for a move of God.  The same is true of our church and our mission to reach our region: it will take every person doing their part.

Vision Sunday 2018

God has something in His heart for our future and He shares it so we can believe Him, get into alignment, and move forward.  If we don’t have a vision from the Lord, how can we know what to invest our time and energy into!?   In this message, listen to the vision God has given The Rock, how that vision is manifesting in St. Louis, and how you can partner and support this move of God.  I believe this will encourage you and help you tune your spiritual ears to hear God’s heart and vision for you in 2018.
